Nina Finn-Kelcey is a Danish/English photographer and illustrator who has been living on the wild & wonderful Kerry coast for the past 19 years.
All her work is the culmination of a life spent observing people and animals in their natural surroundings, and a love of trying to capture them with a lens or pencil.
Her camera and sketch pad have followed her through Europe, Africa, North and South America, The Middle East and Antarctica, always hoping to find new inspiration. Nina has worked as both a freelance photographer and journalist and has been published in Irish Tatler, Garden Heaven, BBC Olive, Social & Personal, The Dubliner, The Examiner,The Irish Times, Sunday Independent and Venture Ireland amongst others.
Nina’s love of both animals and children is evident in most of her painted images; as is her own sense of humour and cheerfulness!
Having given birth to her adored little boy Jules five years ago, Nina now enjoys the wonderful madness of combining work and play at her seaside home, which she shares with her French partner Benoit, a noisy group of hens and all the neighbours’ cats.
